Troy had an old basement with a skim coat of cement over the dirt. There had always been water and mold in the basement ever since he owned the house. Troy decided he wanted to rid his basement of water and moisture once and for all, so he gave Frank's Basement Systems a call to schedule a free, no obligation estimate.
The first step to Troy's comprehensive solution was to place interior drainage around the perimeter of the basement. A trench was dug and drain tile was placed to allow any water on the floor to flow down beneath. A 1/3 horsepower SuperSump primary sump pump and a battery back up Ultra Sump were also installed to get the water up and out of the basement.
The next step was to hang CleanSpace and BrightWall on all the walls. Both of these products prevent moisture that seeps thought the walls from entering the basement. The moisture is trapped between the BrightWall or CleanSpace and is forced down into the drainage that was just installed.
The last step was to remove the moisture from the air. A SaniDry dehumidifier was installed and hooked directly into the sump pump system. Now no matter how water tries to get in, Troy is prepared with his comprehensive waterproofing system from Frank's Basement Systems.

Mike and Elaine were frustrated with their basement always being wet. They decided to call Frank's Basement Systems for a free, no obligation quote on waterproofing their basement.
Rick Pilarski visited their home in Wilson, NY and inspected the basement. Because the house had a stone foundation, he knew it was susceptible to leaks and water vapor seeping through the walls. He recommended 130 feet of interior drainage, a 1/3 horsepower sump pump, and 120 feet of CleanSpace liner on the walls.
The interior drainage provides an outlet for any water in the basement. The CleanSpace heavy duty antimicrobial plastic liner traps water coming through the walls and forces it down into the drainage system. The sump pump is connected to the drainage system to allow the water to be efficiently pumped up and out of the basement.
Thanks to Rick's expert recommendations, Mike and Elaine don't have to stress about having a wet basement ever again! Call us today to schedule your free, no obligation estimate for your dry basement!
David had struggled with water seeping through the block foundation of his Barker home for 9 long years. He had a partially finished basement and wanted it to be dry all the time. He called Frank's Basement Systems for a free, no obligation estimate on stopping water from entering his basement.
Frank Nati inspected David's basement and designed a two-part approach to the problem. The first part involved trapping the water as it came through the walls. Our patented BrightWall paneling was installed across 146 feet of basement walls. The non-porous, antimicrobial panels prevent water from ever entering the basement and will never mold. The second part of the solution involved removing water from the air. A patented SaniDry dehumidifier was installed and hooked directly into the home's existing sump pump.
With his comprehensive solution from Frank's Basement Systems, David no longer has to worry about moisture entering his basement. Call today to schedule your free estimate!
Jeff had always had moisture in his crawl space. While he had an existing sump pump, it was directly in front of the access to the crawl space. He decided to call Frank's Basement Systems for a free, no obligation estimate on waterproofing his crawl space as well as moving his sump pump to make his crawl space more accessible.
To begin his project, the crawl space was dug out including the existing sump system. 103 feet of interior drainage was installed around the perimeter of the space. A new sump pump liner was placed away from the entrance and a 1/3 horsepower Zoeller sump pump was installed. The drainage that was just installed was run directly to the sump pump liner so the water could be pumped up and out of the crawl space.
The next part of the project was to install our patented heavy duty, anti-microbial CleanSpace liner around the entire crawl space. This plastic liner will keep any water from entering the crawl space through the floor or walls.
The final step was to install a patented SaniDry dehumidifier to remove all excess moisture from the air. The SaniDry is also connected to the sump pump so the dehumidifier never needs to be emptied.
Jeff could finally easily access his crawl space and didn't have to worry about moisture entering his home. Call us today to schedule your free, no obligation estimate on a clean and dry crawl space.
Shawn wanted to permanently waterproof his basement so one day it could be fully finished. He called Frank's Basement Systems to schedule a free, no obligation estimate.
Frank Nati visited Shawn's home and inspected his basement. Frank recommended drainage around the entire perimeter of the basement as well as a new 1/2 horsepower sump pump.
To install the interior drainage, the floor was broken out 1 inch deep and 1 inch wide along the walls of the basement. The old drainage was removed and new drainage was put in its place, including inspection ports in each corner to ensure there is no debris in the system. Weep holes were drilled at various points along the walls to allow water coming through the block walls to drain directly into the new drainage. The old sump pump was swapped out for a new 1/2 horsepower pump. The new drainage was tied into the new sump pump and the floor was closed up and the new system went to work immediately!
Shawn can now move forward with finishing his basement without fear of water damage.
Ronald's basement flooded during heavy rains. He had dealt with the problem for a while, but decided he wanted a permanent solution and called Frank's.
Sean Kelley visited Ronald's home and inspected his basement. Sean designed a custom solution to provide Ronald with a permanently dry basement.
The first part of Ronald's solution was WaterGuard drainage to be installed around the entire basement. WaterGuard catches and traps water from both the walls and the floor. The WaterGuard was then tied into a new TripleSafe sump pump system. With a battery back up pump plus two other pumps, Ronald's basement will never flood again.
To finish his system, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was installed and tied into the TripleSafe system lid. The SaniDry Sedona removes up to 95 pints of water per day and never needs to be emptied.
With his custom solution installed, Ronald never has to worry about his basement flooding again!
Mike was thrilled he had found someone to buy his home. But there was one problem; the leaking crack in the basement. It was holding up the closing so it needed to be fixed fast. After some research on the internet, Mike called Frank's to schedule a free, no obligation estimate on repairing the crack.
Mike had already tried to fix the crack and was unsuccessful. Our crack technician Anthony was able to repair the crack with an epoxy injection. The crack was permanently fixed in an afternoon and both Mike and the new owners could rest easy that the water would not return.
Whether you just moved in, have been in your home for a while, or are looking to sell, Frank's Basement Systems has the solution for all your basement, foundation, and crawl space concerns.
Sabrina had struggled for years with a constantly wet and musty smelling basement. Part of her basement had working drainage, but the older, stone portion did not. She decided to call Frank's for a free, no obligation estimate on finding a a solution to her basement problems.
Because she didn't have an existing sump pump, installing a SuperSump pump and UltraSump battery back up pump in Sabrina's basement was a priority. The existing drainage is ineffective without a way to pump the water out of the basement.
In addition to the two sump pumps, WaterGuard interior drainage was installed in the stone portion of the basement. A total of 104 feet of WaterGuard was installed and connected directly to the new sump pump system.
To remove the moisture in the air and the musty odor, a SaniDry Upright was installed adnd connected to the SuperSump liner. The self-draining dehumidifier will work around the clock to dry out the air in Sabrina's basement.
After years of struggling, Sabrina could now finally use her basement without concerns of water or musty smells. Call us today to schedule your free estimate on your dry basement!
Michelle had two spots in her basement where water pooled during heavy rains and snow melts. She couldn't find a source for the water, so she decided to call Frank's for a free estimate in the hopes of an answer.
Our design specialist Mike Ciocca found a crack that was leaking water. In addition to fixing the crack, he recommended interior drainage and a dehumidifier.
The production team made quick work of the crack by injecting it with epoxy to ensure water could never get through again. Interior drainage was added and tied into an existing sump pump. The last part of Michelle's solution was a SaniDry Upright dehumidifier to take the moisture out of the air.
Now Michelle doesn't have to worry about having water in her basement again!
Paul had water seeping into his basement where the floor and walls met. He called Frank's to schedule a free, no obligation estimate on a permanent solution.
Interior drainage was installed around the perimeter of the basement. The new drainage system will trap any water in the basement and direct it to the existing sump pump. As an extra measure, a battery back up pump was added to the system in the event of a power outage.
Paul now had a permanently dry basement he could enjoy!
Emily and Brian had an older home with no interior drainage. As a result, their basement flooded regularly. After talking to some friends, they decided to give Frank's Basement Systems a call for a free, no obligation estimate.
Upon inspection, it became clear the first priority was to install interior drainage. A total of 116 feet of interior drainage was installed around the entire basement. The drainage would direct the water away from the basement.
BrightWall anti-microbial panels were installed on the walls to trap water as it entered through the walls and directed it into the new drainage system.
Emily and Brian now had a solution to their basement flooding concerns.
Fran and Ray had a sump pump in their basement. Unfortunately, they were still experiencing water seeping in where the wall and floor meet. They decided to call Frank's Basement Systems for a free estimate on a solution.
Their existing sump pump was not enough to keep up with the water. Two 1/2 horsepower sump pump was installed to replace the existing pump. If one pump becomes overwhelmed, the other pump will turn on to help
Interior drainage was installed in the floor along the base of all the walls. This will direct the water to the sump pumps.
Fran and Ray could now be sure their basement would no longer flood, even during storms.
Danielle's basement was a walkout with water problems. She had been told she can't have a sump pump because she is below the sewer level. Her sister just had work done by Frank's and was thrilled. Danielle decided enough was enough and called to schedule her free estimate.
Frank Nati inspected her basement and agreed she couldn't have a sump pump. Although, not all hope was lost. He recommended a full perimeter interior drainage system. While these systems work best with a sump pump system like our patented TripleSafe system, this was the best option for Danielle. The drainage system would allow the water to drain down below her house instead of sitting on the floor.
After a few days of digging and installation, Danielle had 96 feet of interior drainage ready for any amount of water. She was ecstatic to finally have an answer to her years of flooding.
Jim had a dirt crawl space and small basement in his home. While he didn't struggle with moisture like most homeowners with dirt crawl spaces, he did have a stale, musty odor after the spring thaw. He decided to call Frank's Basement Systems for a free estimate on eliminating the source.
Because there was no standing water in either the basement or crawl space, a full waterproofing system was not necessary at this point. To control the musty smell, our patented self-draining SaniDry dehumidifier was installed. The SaniDry removes about 100 pints of water from the air per day. Removing the moisture from the air will also take care of the staleness and mustiness in the air.
Jim no longer had to put up with the nasty smell from his crawl space every year.
Joe and Sylvia were concerned about the structure of their home. They decided to call Frank's Basement Systems for a free, no obligation estimate.
Mike Ciocca inspected their basement and confirmed the house was in need of structural repairs. Years of water in the basement had caused floor joists to rot and the main supports to fail in one area. Luckily for Joe and Sylvia, there was a non-invasive solution for them.
SmartJacks are used to support the house when the original ones have deteriorated to the point where they cannot. Not only do they hold the weight, but they also lift the floors back to their original position.
A total of 6 SmartJacks were installed in the basement by Bob and his crew. In addition to the SmartJacks, a 41' steel beam was also installed to support the failing floor joists.
After a few days of installation, Joe and Sylvia's house was fully supported and safe again.

Nancy can now rest easy knowing her basement is permanently dry!
Ed and Elizabeth had a dirt crawl space in their home they were interested in waterproofing. They called Frank's Basement Systems for a free estimate.
Mike visited Ed and Elizabeth's home and inspected the crawl space. The moisture in the space had damaged the rim joist and sill plate. Mike recommended interior drainage and encapsulation.
The first component is installing SmartPipe drainage which is specially designed for crawl spaces. A dimpled drainage matting is then placed on the ground to allow water to flow toward the SmartPipe. The entire system is then encapsulated in CleanSpace vapor barrier to keep moisture and pests out permanently.
Ed and Elizabeth didn't have to worry about moisture damage to their home's supports thanks to Frank's Basement Systems!
Greg's home had water in the basement and two bowing foundation walls. He called Frank's Basement Systems for a free estimate on both issues.
Joe Johnson visited Greg's home and inspected the basement. He confirmed what Greg was seeing and designed a custom solution.
Larry and his experienced crew started by opening the floor around the perimeter of the basement. The 7 PowerBraces were installed along the failing wall and attached to the floor joists. PowerBraces can be tightened over time to bring the wall vertical again.
The CarbonArmor bands were installed in the most damaged area to provide extra reinforcement. The thin carbon fiber bands are a great, non-invasive solution for bowing basement walls.
With all the wall work completed, it was time to move on to the waterproofing portion of Greg's project. WaterGuard interior drainage was installed where water most often pooled. A TripleSafe sump pump system was installed at the end of the WaterGuard to pump all water up and out of the basement. The three pumps in the TripleSafe system ensure the system won't fail or be overwhelmed.
Greg's home was now structurally sound and waterproof. Call today to schedule your estimate.

An absorbent foam strip was place over the crack to stop any water coming through. A polyurethane sealant was placed over the foam strip and several inches on either side of the crack to ensure a good seal. A small drywell was installed in the floor directly below the crack to allow any water trapped in the foam to drain.
All 5 cracks were repaired in just one day! Robert no longer has to worry about water leaking through the cracks in the basement.
Randy had some concerns regarding the structural integrity of his home's foundation. He decided to call Frank's Basement Systems for a free estimate.
Frank Nati inspected Randy's basement and designed a custom solution for him. The solution included repairing 30 cracks in the walls, 11 i-beams, and 2 SmartJacks.
The multidirectional nature of the cracks required a Xypex injection to prevent any future leaks.
The I-Beams were installed along the walls that were starting to fail to take the weight of the house.
The SmartJacks supported the carrier beam to take the bounce out of the floor.
Susan's crawl space was damp and cold and she wanted a permanent fix. She called Frank's Basement Systems for a free estimate on crawl space encapsulation.
Mike inspected her crawl space and determined the CleanSpace encapsulation system would be perfect for Susan's crawl space. The first part of the system is the dimpled drainage matting on the dirt floor to allow water to drain away. The second part of the system is the thick, antimicrobial, tear-resistant vapor barrier installed over the drainage matting and up to the floor joists. These two components work together to allow water to drain out of the crawl space and prevent moisture from reaching the wood structure.
After one day of installation, Susan no longer had to worry about water in her crawl space anymore.
Ryan had a few cracks in his basement wall that leaked during heavy rains. He decided to call and schedule a free estimate.
Dave Hennessy visited Ryan's home and inspected the cracks. He determined they were not a result of a structural problem and could be fixed permanently in one day.

This unfinished basement has a poured concrete foundation with cracks in the walls. These cracks allowed water to seep into the basement. This would cause major water issues whenever it rained, with water constantly leaking in and leaving the basement wet. Our team installed an interior drainage system along the main wall and connected the system to the existing sump pump. These measures allow the water behind the foundation to be collected and expelled before it has the chance to intrude the basement.
This homeowner had an unfinished basement with a large foundation crack near the water line. This crack would allow the water to constantly leak onto the basement floor. Our team repaired this crack for the homeowner to keep the basement dry!
This unfinished basement had a poured concrete wall that began to crack and bow inwards. Our team used helical piers and beams to properly adjust and support the wall. To take care of any leaks, a sump pump system was installed as well.
Leo, a homeowner in Gasport, NY, experienced water seepage through various fractures in his basement wall whenever it rained. Our crew went in and installed Xypex, a crystalline solution that forms insoluble crystals whenever it comes in contact with water. Leo can now have peace of mind knowing water will never leak from those fractures again!
Erin, a homeowner in Wilson, NY, experienced a vertical fracture that went about half the length of the wall. The fracture was leaking enough water for puddles to form at the base of the wall, where the wall met the floor. Our crews came out and installed Xypex, a crystalline solution that hardens into crystals upon contact with water to form an impermeable barrier. Erin will never experience water seepage from this fracture again.
This homeowner in Lewiston, NY, experienced water seepage in the corner of his basement that led to small puddles after a rain storm passed by. Since this homeowner already had a working sump pump, Frank's came in and installed partial drainage around the area the water leakage came from, then covered the effected walls in BrightWall. Any future water seepage will drip down into drainage system and out through the sump pump. This homeowner's basement is dry for good.
This homeowner in Lewiston, NY, called in because they noticed a vertical crack along their basement wall that leaked whenever it rained. Our crew came out and installed Xypex, a crystalline solution that crystallizes whenever it comes in contact with water. Furthermore, the solution expands all the way into the crack to prevent any water seepage in the future. This homeowner will never have to worry about water seepage from this crack again.
This homeowner in Middleport, NY, called in because the foundation wall in their basement was starting to move, causing various horizontal cracks to appear. Our team came in and installed our patented PowerBrace I-Beams, which will hold the bowing wall in place and can be tightened over time.
This homeowner in Ransomville, NY, called in because water started leaking from the area where the floor and wall meet, that was already repaired by a previous contractor. They now have a waterproofed basement they can have confidence in.
This homeowner from Newfane, NY, just bought their house and wanted to make sure their basement was squared away and waterproofed before they renovated the house any further. There was an existing sump pump, but it sometimes became unplugged and they wanted an even stronger system so they'd never have a worry with all the rain and snow that Buffalo gets. Frank's was their first and only call!
Our team came in and installed a SuperSump Plus sump pump system, along with a backup. These systems will never unplug and these new homeowners can renovate their basement with confidence.
This homeowner in North Tonawanda, NY, called in because their basement had several issues. One of their walls was tilted forward and another one of their walls was bowing inwards. Both of these foundation problems caused water to leak in their basement during heavy rain storms. Our team came in and repaired their walls with several of our patented i-beams, which can be tightened with annual maintenance to make the walls straight again. We also waterproofed their basement with an entire perimeter drainage system leading to a ProSump Plus sump pump.
This homeowner in Sanborn, NY, called in because they had water leaking into their basement from the crevice where the floor and wall met. They also had an odor coming through their basement. Our team came in and installed perimeter drainage with our patented WaterGuard drainage system, and then installed a SaniDry Sedona to rid of the foul smell. This homeowner's basement is now waterproofed and has a powerful dehumidification system to rid of any foul odors.
This homeowner in Sanborn, NY, called in because their sump pump was running constantly. Also, they had water leaking into their basement from various cracks along their walls. This homeowner in Niagara Falls, NY, called Frank's when they were concerned about their basement walls. Their walls were bowing inwards, causing various cracks to form and leak water into their basement. Upon inspection, our team of experts found that their wall was bowing 3 inches! This wall didn't just need I-beams, it needed to be replaced.
After laying down some steel beams to support the house, our crew replaced this homeowner's wall, then installed an interior drainage system leading to our patented ProSump sump pump system. Since the other walls were bowing slightly, but not to the same degree as the one wall, our crew installed several i-beams along the walls. These i-beams can be tightened over time with annual maintenance to correct the walls into an upright position.
This homeowner in Gasport, NY, called in because their basement was damp along one of the walls due to cracks between the cinderblocks of their foundation. Since there wasn't any water seepage, they weren't sure what to do. This is when they called Frank's.
Our team of experts came in and, after inspection, noticed their wall was bowing slightly inward. This was the cause of the cracks. We then installed our patented PowerBrace I-Beams along the wall to combat these cracks.
This homeowner in North Tonawanda, NY, called in because they noticed water leaking into their basement whenever it rained. To keep their basement, dry all the time, our crew of experts came in and installed our patented WaterGuard drainage system, leading to a powerful, patented Triple Safe sump pump system, which features a primary pump that can pump out 2,600 gallons of water per our alongside a stronger backup pump that can pump out 6,200 gallons per hour. For triple the protection, the TripleSafe includes a battery backup pump with a separate discharge line, in case both pumps fail from a power outage.
These homeowners will never have to worry about water seepage again!
This homeowner in Lockport, NY, called in because water leaked into their basement from both the front and back walls where the floor and wall meet. Our crew came in and first installed Xypex into the open cracks. Xypex is a flexible sealant that crystallizes and hardens upon contact with water. Due to its flexible nature, it can expand if cracks continue to widen. Our crew also installed our patented BrightWall inorganic wall panels along the perimeter of the basement to prevent any water or moisture seepage.
After the snow thawed from a snow storm, Jill from North Tonawanda, NY, called Frank's because her basement started flooding. Since she never wanted to deal with a flood again, our crew installed our complete waterproofing system, consisting of our patented and inorganic BrightWall wall panels, our patented WaterGuard drainage system, and our patented TripleSafe sump pump. Since BrightWall is inorganic, no moisture will come through the walls, helping Jill breathe cleaner air in her basement while preventing mold growth. If any water trickles down the wall panels, our WaterGuard system will effectively channel it into the TripleSafe. The TripleSafe consists of 3 layers of protection:
Pump 1: A 1/3 horsepower cast-iron Zoeller pump that can discharge up to 2,600 gallons of water per hour
Pump 2: A 1/2 horsepower cast-iron Zoeller pump that can discharge up to 6,200 gallons of water per hour (Only powers on if Pump 1 fails or if there is excess water)
Battery Back Up: In the case of a power outage, our battery backup sump pump will kick on and discharge the water out through a different drainage pipe.
Marilyn, a homeowner in Ransomville, NY, noticed moisture around the perimeter of her 1980s home. She called in looking for a waterproofing solution so that she never has to worry about water seepage or moisture ever again. Frank's had just the solution! We first installed our patented WaterGuard drainage system, which is a state-of-the-art drainage system that never clogs and looks nearly invisible once installed. Then we channeled that drainage to a new, powerful, patented SuperSump Plus sump pump, which can pump nearly 2,600 gallons of water out of the basement per hour. After the sump pump was installed, we got to work with our BrightWall inorganic wall panels, which channel any water seepage from the walls down to the drainage system. Since the wall panels are inorganic, they prevent any moisture from coming through the walls, making them water and mold-damage free! Lastly, to put the cherry on top we installed our award-winning SaniDry Sedona. This dehumidifier isn't your everyday dehumidifier - it moves air at a rate of 300 square feet per minute, ensuring the cleanest air for Marilyn's basement. It is also highly energy efficient, reducing electricity costs and staying silent as your air gets cleaner by the minute. Marilyn can feel confident in her new, dry basement.

It's designed for wavy crawl space floors and is easy to move around for homeowners. Coupled with our seven-layer thick, durable and patented CleanSpace liner made of polyurethane, Bob's crawl space is ready to hold storage and prevent any moisture or dampness from seeping through.
Homeowner Steve, from Lewiston, NY, called Frank's when the sump pump in his 40 year old home could not handle the amount of water that was flowing into it. His sump pump began to overflow and water would appear on his basement floor. Upon inspection, our Design Specialist determined Steve needed a much more powerful system to handle the amount of water that was flowing into his sump pump - he needed our patented TripleSafe sump pump system. Our TripleSafe sump pump is a highly efficient and reliable system that contains 3 major components:
1) Primary Pump: The primary pump is a 1/3 horsepower cast-iron Zoeller pump capable of removing up to 2,240 gallons of water per hour from the basement.
2) Secondary Pump: In case the primary pump fails or there is an excess flow of water to the point water flows past the primary pump's float, the backup pump, a 1/2 horsepower cast-iron Zoeller pump, will kick on. The backup pump is even more powerful as it can remove up to 3,900 gallons of water per hour from the basement.
3) Battery Backup: In the case of power outages, where both of the main pumps fail, our patented UltraSump battery backup system will kick on. The backup pump can remove up to 2,000 gallons of water per hour with a max capacity of 12,000 gallons.
Homeowner Matt, from Lockport, NY, called in when he noticed water coming through the joint where his floor and wall meet. Upon inspection, our experts determined that Matt had standing water outside his basement walls. Since he didn't have any draintile to properly channel the water seepage to his sump pump, the hydrostatic pressure was forcing the water into his basement through any crevice it could. We went out to Matt's home and installed our patented WaterGuard drainage system. This drainage system is unique in that it will never clog, not to mention it also looks nearly invisible upon installation!
Andy, a homeowner in Niagara Falls, NY, called in when he noticed water coming through the joint where the floor and wall meet. After removing drywall to get to the source of the water seepage, our experts determined that Andy had standing water on the other side of his basement walls. Because of this, we installed our patented WaterGuard drainage system leading to our powerful SuperSump sump pump system, which can effectively remove water from the basement at a rate of 2,240 gallons of water per hour. Andy can now have peace of mind with no more water touching his basement floor.

Homeowner Mary, from Gasport, NY, noticed water leaking into her basement through a long vertical crack in her basement wall. Our crew went out to Mary's home and sealed her wall crack with Xypex, a crystalline sealant that hardens upon contact with water to cut off any water seepage at its source. Since this sealant is flexible, it can expand if Mary's wall crack were to widen further. It will also not crack over time.
In the case that water seepage did escape the crack, our crew laid a panel of our patented BrightWall inorganic paneling over the crack so that water will never touch Mary's floor.
Homeowner Charles, from Youngstown, NY, called Frank's when he noticed a large horizontal crack on his basement foundation wall. He noticed some water leaking into his basement from the crack and decided to do something about it once and for all.
