Foundation Repair and Waterproofing in Williamsville, NY
Challenge
The foundation wall in this Williamsville home had begun to bow inward. As a result of the movement in the wall, four large diagonal cracks had formed allowing water to enter the basement.
Solution
Due to the varied degree of bow in the wall and outside conditions, Frank's Basement Systems was able to use Immediate Wall Straightening on part of the wall and stabilize the rest with PowerBraces.
With the wall stabilized and straightened, the large cracks were sealed with Xypex to ensure there would be no leaking in the future. CarbonArmor stitches were applied across the cracks to ensure they would not expand.
To ensure no water would enter the basement again, WaterGuard interior drainage was installed along with a SuperSump Plus sump pump system.
